The CEME in Dampremy will host the 15th edition of the Charleroi Seniors Fair on Tuesday, October 13, 2026, a free event focused on well-being and local services for the elderly.

On Tuesday, October 13, 2026, the CEME in Dampremy will open its doors for the 15th edition of the Charleroi Seniors Fair. This free event, organized jointly by the CEME, the CPAS of Charleroi, and the City's Seniors Department, is presented as an ideal opportunity to gather advice, discover local services, and share a warm moment.
More than 60 exhibitors will be present to showcase their activities and advice in various fields: health and prevention with professionals, leisure and sports to stay active and entertained, crafts and well-being with a makeover area. Demonstrations, workshops, shows, and games are also planned. A bar-cafeteria area will be available for relaxation.
The day will begin at 10:00 AM with the opening of the doors, followed at 11:30 AM by the official inauguration and a reception. Free blood pressure, oxygen saturation, BMI, cholesterol, and blood sugar screenings will be offered by health professionals.
A beauty & relaxation area will offer hairdressing, aesthetic treatments, manicures, and physiotherapy. A series of conferences will cover topics such as pets, artificial intelligence with Charles HANON, helping caregivers with Dr. Jean-Émile VANDERHEYDEN, and affective and sexual life after 60 with Laura MERTENS.
Other activities are planned throughout the day, including games to stimulate memory, well-being discoveries, practical first aid initiations ('Gestes qui sauvent'), digital workshops, and catering areas with Food Trucks.
The CPAS of Charleroi will have a booth to inform and guide visitors on its services, including those for senior reception and accommodation, home help and care, the Maison de l’Énergie, Trans’form, Proxi-services, and the Mobil’assistant.
