An accessible walk for everyone, guided in sign language, brought together over 30 participants at the Ploegsteert Ornithological Nature Reserve on Sunday, September 27, 2026.

On Sunday, September 27, 2026, a sunny walk took place in the Ploegsteert Ornithological Nature Reserve (R.N.O.P.), focused on inclusion and sharing. This walk, designed to be accessible to all, was guided by two enthusiasts: Mr. Martin WINDELS and Mr. Sébastien BRUSSELMANS, who offered a sign language tour.
More than 30 participants took part in this adventure in the heart of nature. The program included discovering the reserve's plants and shrubs, observing animals and birds in the ponds, as well as explanations about their origins and nesting habits.
After more than 1 hour and 45 minutes of discovery, the visit concluded in a friendly atmosphere with infusions made from the reserve's fruits and delicious jams prepared by members of the ASBL Lys Nature.
This successful first edition was marked by nature, sharing, and inclusion.
