The campaign aims to encourage early detection and break down taboos surrounding men's health. Several events are planned to raise public awareness and offer support to those affected by the disease.
The program begins on November 12 at 6:30 PM with a conference on prostate cancer, led by Doctor François from C.H.M., a urology specialist, at the Hôtel de Ville de Warneton. The session will cover the keys to an adapted care pathway.
Other activities include: a tai-chi session on November 16 at 10 AM at the Comines dojo, led by Patrick Maton; an introduction to self-hypnosis on November 19 at 6 PM at the Maison de Village de Ten-Brielen, offered by Ève Demey; and a well-being event focused on yoga on November 27 from 2 PM to 5 PM at the old school in Bas-Warneton.
The municipality calls for collective mobilization to raise awareness, support those affected, and share hope in the face of the disease.
