The City of Saint-Ghislain has unveiled its second mural in Baudour, at the corner of Rue des Bonniers and Rue du Parc, an artwork by Dutch street artist JanIsDeMan.

This new artwork poetically merges the three pillars of Baudour's identity. The autumn forest landscape recalls the etymology of the village's name, Bal-durnium, meaning passage through forests and marshes. Industrial heritage is represented by a central art deco-style servant figure, a nod to the famous Baudour Cerabel porcelain factory. Finally, the 'Waters of Baudour' are symbolized by the servant pouring local water and alongside the famous local lemonade bottle, a memory for many families.
This mural offers residents and visitors a poetic and proud interpretation of Baudour's collective history.
