The renovation project for the Yernaux swimming pool in Charleroi is currently underway, with an estimated delivery date of 2026. This initiative, with project management by the AC de Charleroi, is part of a broader effort for citizen development and well-being driven by Igretec.
The area covered by this project ranges between 500 and 1500m². Igretec's history, born from the desire for inter-municipal cooperation to improve public services, is marked by key milestones such as the creation of the Cité de l'Enfance, public service management by IEGSP, PAE development by ADEC, and finally the establishment of Igretec in 2004 following the merger of IEGSP and ADEC.
Igretec, headquartered in Charleroi, operates as a multidisciplinary engineering firm, an economic and territorial development agency, an accredited body for sanitation and wastewater management, and an enabler of sustainable energy projects. The company also took over part of Intersud's activities in 2004, strengthening its territorial expertise in Southern Hainaut.
