Tournai launches free energy saving workshops

The City of Tournai is launching a series of free workshops dedicated to energy saving, which will be held at the Maison de l’Habitat.

Open to all and free of charge, these workshops will take place at the Maison de l’Habitat, located at rue des Corriers 14 in Tournai. No prior registration is required for on-site participation. It will also be possible to follow the sessions via video conference, upon registration.

Home insulation will be the subject on March 11, 2027, with advice on the most cost-effective renovations and available aid to make homes more comfortable and energy-efficient.
Finally, on April 15, 2027, the workshop will focus on photovoltaics, assessing its relevance for individuals in 2027, covering technology, costs, and new electricity tariffs.
A final workshop on May 27, 2027, will offer tips for keeping homes comfortable during heatwaves without air conditioning, exploring traditional and modern techniques.
