This day of remembrance will pay tribute to the soldiers and victims of conflicts that have marked history, as well as to those who fought for freedom and peace.
The ceremony will begin with a mass at 10:30 AM, followed by a wreath-laying at the war memorial, a solemn moment of remembrance and gratitude towards the generations who paid a heavy price during the wars.
Following the commemorations, participants will be invited to a reception held in the Wedding Hall of the Pecq Municipal House, offering a moment of sharing.
November 11 marks the anniversary of the Armistice signed in 1918, which ended the fighting of World War I on the Western Front. More than a century later, this date remains a strong symbol of peace, remembrance, and transmission to younger generations.
The municipal authorities invite citizens, patriotic associations, flag bearers, and representatives of the entity's vital forces to take part in this ceremony of remembrance.
