The 2026-2027 cultural season at the Soignies Cultural Centre promises a diverse program, marked by numerous co-productions with the Braine-le-Comte Cultural Centre. Music will be featured with artists such as Antoine Hénaut, Demi Portion, Axel Bauer, Jeronimo, Roland Van Campenhout, Miossec, Zinnetango, Scala & Kolacny Brothers celebrating their 30th anniversary, Sanseverino X Lise Cabaret, Orange Blossom, Jean-François Zygel, Puggy in an intimate format, Cali with his new album Caliciuri, and Alice on the Roof.
Comedy will also be present with Laurence Bibot in « Bobonne Star » and the promising Mélanie Akkari. Theatre will hold an important place with plays such as « Pépée, une histoire sans chute », « Ligne ouverte » (Théâtre de Poche), « Coucou, c’est la guerre! » inspired by Édith Cavell, « Les enfants endormis » (La Tricoterie), « Ricochet » (Théâtre des Martyrs), « La Guerre des émeus », « Oublie-moi » (Théâtre Le Public), « Crime et châtiment » by Cie Karyatides, and « Descendre » by Lachky and Valère Company.
Family outings are also included with « Brume » by Cie Renard Noire, « Monsieur Nicolas », « Camping Cosmos » (Cie Dérivation), and « Cabaret Pop Secret » (Pudding ASBL). Dinner shows and the « Le Retour du Jeudi » cycle will continue to combine performing arts and gastronomy.
The exhibition cycle will feature photographer Didier Wilmart (« Not a good idea »), « Mineral Pixel », an immersive digital art projection by Arts2, « Femmes au cœur du commerce équitable » (with OXFAM), Quinconce with about fifteen artists, and the annual « Contrastes » event.
In cinema, film enthusiasts can discover « El maestro que prometio el mar » and « La petite prison dans la prairie ». Additionally, a wide range of creative workshops (watercolor, theatre, drawing, photography, painting, jazz, guitar...) is offered.
