The project also includes the development of access roads, assembly areas, the laying of electrical cables, and the installation of a head cabin. The infrastructure would be located between Rue Petit Bruxelles in Bassilly and Rue de Horlebecq in Marcq.
As part of this procedure, a preliminary information meeting will be held on Monday, November 23, 2026, at 7 PM at the Hall SillySports, located at Square Camille Theys, Rue Thabor 70, 7830 Bassilly.
This meeting aims to present the project to the public, allow citizens to ask questions and provide observations, identify points for further study in the impact assessment, examine technical alternatives, and launch a call for expressions of interest.
A recording of the meeting will be available for consultation for 15 days following the event at the municipal administrations of Silly and Enghien (by appointment) or online via the Virya Energy website.
Following the meeting, written observations must be submitted within 15 days to the municipal colleges of Enghien (environnement@enghien-edingen.be or Avenue Reine Astrid 18b, 7850 Enghien) and Silly (environnement@silly.be or Rue Saint-Pierre 2, 7830 Silly). A copy should also be sent to Virya Energy Invest Belgium, attention Célia Nennen, Edingensesteenweg 249, 1500 Halle.
