The BE-Alert system is used by the City of Braine-le-Comte, as well as provincial, regional, and federal authorities, to inform the public in case of emergencies such as floods, storm warnings, or collective health measures.
This system allows users to receive alerts via SMS, email, or voice call. Each user can choose their preferred notification channel to receive relevant alerts.
Organizing these national tests not only verifies the proper functioning of the sending system within the territory but also allows for the practice and adjustment of the municipality's internal procedures. It is also an opportunity to encourage citizens to register on the platform.
Those already registered will receive a test email. No action is required from them.
To register for BE-Alert and participate in the national test, simply visit the website www.be-alert.be or complete the paper form available at the reception of the Hôtel de Ville.
