The municipality of Frameries, in partnership with the company Ecocim, has implemented a system for recycling chrysanthemums after the All Saints' Day period.

Since 2025, the municipality of Frameries has been collaborating with the company Ecocim on a chrysanthemum recycling project. Explanatory posters and collection bins have been installed in all cemeteries within the entity.
Chrysanthemums, being perennial plants, are collected by Ecocim once the All Saints' Day period has passed. The goal is to revalue these plant wastes. For this year 2026, the municipality will receive 200 chrysanthemums, heathers, and other perennial plants for placement around cemeteries and war memorials.
The maintenance of graves is the responsibility of families. For chrysanthemums, citizens simply need to place them in the designated bins, and Ecocim will handle their collection and revaluation.
This partnership, initiated in 2025, has been renewed due to its clear ecological benefits and the effective service provided to citizens and the municipality.
