The Val de Sambre Ressourcerie offers a free bulky item collection service at home in Charleroi, promoting reuse and recycling while creating local jobs.

The Val de Sambre Ressourcerie initiative transforms your bulky items into valuable resources. This circular economy service, active in Charleroi, collects furniture, appliances, and other goods you no longer need, free of charge, giving them a second life.
The process includes home or drop-off collection, selective sorting of reusable items, repair if necessary, resale at reduced prices in R store shops, and recycling of what cannot be reused. The goal is twofold: to reduce waste and prevent wastage, while creating local jobs and promoting socio-professional reintegration.
To benefit from the home collection service, simply contact the Ressourcerie at 071 47 57 57 (Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 12 PM and 12:30 PM to 4 PM) or by email at info@revalsambre.be. An appointment will be scheduled and confirmed the day before. Items must be prepared and accessible.
In parallel, the Espaces Récup’R, located at the recycling centers of the intercommunal company Tibi, allow for the free deposit and collection of items in good condition. Sites are available in Farciennes, Couillet, Montigny-le-Tilleul, Gerpinnes, and Anderlues.
A new 2,500 m² reuse center was inaugurated in 2026 in Couillet. This modern facility centralizes collection, sorting, repair, storage, and sales, enhancing the Ressourcerie's capacity to give a second life to nearly 85% of collected goods. Repaired items are resold in the R store shops, including a new outlet in Couillet.
This project, supported by public authorities, is part of a circular economy approach, contributing to the reduction of illegal dumping and the support of local employment.
