From October 2nd to 11th, 2026, the Maison des Géants in Ath transforms into a creative garden for the inaugural Ath Floralies, celebrating plants and local know-how.

The City of Ath, with support from the Local Development Agency and the Tourist Office, is launching the first edition of the Ath Floralies from October 2nd to 11th, 2026. The event will turn the Maison des Géants into a living exhibition, gathering florists, horticulturists, artisans, merchants, and young talents under the theme of plants, creativity, and local expertise.
Visitors will have the opportunity to rediscover the museum's collections from a new perspective, while appreciating the skills of flower, decoration, and craft enthusiasts. The exhibition will be accessible during the Maison des Géants' regular opening hours. A special evening opening is scheduled for Friday, October 9th, offering a more intimate atmosphere.
Over a dozen professionals from the floral, horticultural, and artisanal sectors, including Botta Concept, Charlotte Bartholomé, Mas.Tho’S Flowers, Geoffroy Mottart, and Gauthier le Vannier, will share their passion. The Local Development Agency highlights the event's role in promoting the local economy.
The art of table setting will also be featured, with contributions from local businesses such as Le Magasin 26 and Les Établissements Bastien, creating a journey of elegance and conviviality.
The inaugural edition will showcase young talents, with creations from students in specialized horticultural and carpentry programs from regional schools. Practical workshops will be offered on seasonal floral arrangement, basket weaving, and floral design, allowing participants to take home their own creations.
The event also includes a musical performance, 'Le chant des Fleurs', by the choirs of the Pays vert on Sunday, October 11th. Admission is €8 for adults and €5 for children, with workshop access including museum entry.
Supported by numerous partners, including the Tour des Légendes and Bijouterie Livis Laforge, this event aims to offer a new way to discover Ath and support local talent.
