Following work carried out in early September at the nursery school and crèche, the transformation of the courtyard is now complete. Communal teams worked throughout the summer to develop this area, incorporating a significant natural element for the children's development. This project was realized thanks to a wonderful initiative of solidarity.
Amaury, a former parent of the crèche and manager of Team Gazon in Cordes, generously donated the rolls of natural turf needed to create the lawn. "As his children attended our facility, he was keen to support this greening project and contribute, in his own way, to offering the children a greener and more pleasant environment," explain Julia Dekampener and Charlotte Leroy, the crèche managers.
On September 26, several volunteers sprang into action! Former parents, Charlotte, Julia, their husbands, and the children gathered to lay the turf rolls together. This moment of conviviality and sharing adds even more meaning to this project, designed for the children and supported by the families' continued attachment to the Pottes crèche.
A huge thank you goes to Amaury and Team Gazon for this precious gift, as well as to all the individuals who dedicated their time and energy to making this courtyard a vibrant, welcoming space conducive to discovery. The lawn is now in place, ready for the children to enjoy their new play area.
