Organized by the British Ministry of Defence and the Commonwealth War Graves Commission (CWGC), the ceremony will be held at Strand Military Cemetery on Rue de Messines in Ploegsteert. Lieutenant Fred Naylor was killed in April 1918 in Basse-Ville (Warneton).
His grave was recently identified through cross-referencing CWGC archives. The mayor and the alderman for heritage of Comines-Warneton invite citizens to participate in this act of remembrance.
